WORKSHOPS

I have taught workshops in painting, drawing, mixed media collage and printmaking for all ages and levels of experience, venues include The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, Blue Springs State Park, Duval County Public Schools and the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville. In the spring of 2008, I offered my first workshop in my studio. Participants created their own monotypes using my 36"X72" Ettan etching press. It was a lot of fun !

Upcoming classes

Black on White in the Gardens
Saturday January 31, 2009 10-4pm lunch included

Using the Cummer gardens as our inspiration, students will explore the painterly medium of monotype printing. Open to all levels of experience, students will experiment with  a variety of inking techniques to create unique images in black on white.

Flowering Time
Saturday March 21, 2009 10-4pm

In the intimacy of my private studio we will further explore the possibilities of the monotype process. Through demonstrations and individual instruction, students will create their own set of unique prints. Open to all levels of interest. Class size is very limited and lunch is on the house!
